German Wool Pants

(2 reviews) Write a Review

6 Pocket. Double knee with oilcloth between the two layers to prevent wet knees. 28 ounce wool. Sizes 29-48.

Please note that although the website may indicate we have stock in a certain size, the larger sizes (over 35) are much harder to get and often we are out. Shipments are irregular and we try to accumulate these pants all year long. So please email us your waist and length and we will check stock.

It is best if you contact me first through eBay or by email. These pants do not fit like domestic wool pants. In Europe, they are worn high on the waist. In the states, they are generally worn lower so the inseam “becomes” about 1” longer.

I actually measure these pants and that measurement is what is displayed.

Please contact us and we can explain further if needed.

Due to unprecedented demand we are sorry to say that we are often out of waist sizes 34-46.

As soon as we have sizes back in stock we will update this item. These pants are extremely difficult to get and we try to accumulate them all year. Thank you for your understanding.

Thes are extremely well made and well designed and are perfect for winter outdoor activities especially hunting. Warm, wind resistant and extremely quiet.I have gotten them for my son and best friend and am going to get another pair for myself.Wool can't be beat by any synthetics for warmth (wet or dry) as well as quietness and durability.

Well constructed, but watch the size!

These pants are well constructed, and obviously made to last. They are full cut, but deer hunters need to be aware that the plastic waterproof layer between the 'double knee' construction layers is very noisy and would not be useful if you're within hearing distance of your deer. The pockets and buttons are all well stitched, and I expect these pants to last quite a few years. However, also note that they seem to run about 2 inches smaller in the waste than their labels indicate. I take a size 32 waist comfortably. I ordered size 34 to be able to put them on over heavy CWCS underwear and tucked in shirts. The size 34 barely closes on me, so that's a 2+ inch discrepancy, so order accordingly. The length appears to be accurate.
